Back to the Shop

The flu went through our family over the past couple of weeks, and so I spent very little time in the workshop.

Some interesting things did happen though, I continued my exploration of "hand planes." I purchased a new LN low-angle block plane and a new LN #4 high-angle-frog smoother.  Both are beautiful planes that perform very, very well.   These planes are so much better the other modern hand plane crap that I am replacing that I don't think they should even be compared as the same tools.  Amazing!!
